Bread Stuffing Ingredients


  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery

  • 3/4 cup chopped onion

  • 3/4 tablespoon butter

  • 9 cups soft bread cubes

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 cup chicken stock, as needed


Directions For Bread Stuffing


  1. In Dutch oven or medium pot, cook and stir celery and onion in butter until celery is tender; stir in remaining ingredients and brown the stuffing before serving

  2. Can also be cooked as casserole by baking in a greased 2 quart dish at 375 for 30 minutes
