French Onion Soup Ingredients


  • 2 Tablespoons Of Butter

  • 2 Cups Thinly Sliced Onions

  • 4 Cups Beef Broth

  • 2 Tablespoons Dry Sherry (Optional)

  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

  • 4-6 Slices Of French Bread, Toasted

  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheese, Gruyere, Jarlsburg, Or Swiss


Directions For French Onion Soup


  1. In a large saucepan melt butter. Stir in onions. Cook over medium low heat for about 10 minutes. Onions should be tender and golden brown
